Circuit Clerk’s Office — Room 331.

This office is responsible for:

• Filing all civil and small claims cases in Buchanan County
• Receiving, processing and maintaining judgments and orders of all proceedings in the six divisions of the Circuit Court
• Issuing subpoenas, summonses, garnishments, executions, certified copies of judgments, orders and commitments
• Disbursing all fines, costs, and monies paid into court
• Providing clerical assistance to all circuit and associate circuit judges

Ashley Thrasher is the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Buchanan County. She was elected into office in November 2018 and began her work as Circuit Clerk in January 2019. Prior to election, Ashley worked for Hallmark Cards, Boehringer Ingelheim and Mosaic Life Care in various marketing, management and human resources positions.

Ashley and her husband, Matt, are both lifelong residents of St. Joseph and have two children.
